This case study examines the Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) DIB II, an innovative “pay-for-success” mechanism designed to deliver high-quality health services to adolescent girls (ages 15–19) in high-burden Kenyan counties. Launched in 2023, it builds on the digital infrastructure and success of the world’s first SRH bond (DIB I). DIB I, also known as the In Their Hands (ITH) effort – the world’s first DIB focused on adolescent SRH – established the digital model and real-time data platform that then powered DIB II.
