TIKO’s SRH Development Impact Bond II

The Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Development Impact Bond (ASRH DIB II) financed adolescent- and youth-friendly SRH and HIV services delivered through public facilities at scale in high burden Kenyan counties.

This innovative Bond funded services like contraceptive use and HIV testing and treatment to adolescent girls aged 15 19.ASRH DIB II builds on a successful Phase One model (DIB I) previously implemented by Tiko Africa with the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) as the outcome funder and CIFF as the investor, over an 18-month period from 2020 to 2022. DIB I, also known as the In Their Hands (ITH) effort – the world’s first DIB focused on adolescent SRH – established the digital model and real-time data platform that then powered DIB II
