Fellowship Description
This six-week virtual capacity-building initiative aims to equip African funders, investors, and ecosystem builders with the knowledge, tools, and skills to effectively deploy catalytic capital as a means to unlock private investment into high-impact but underserved opportunities across the continent.
In light of the widening finance gap across sectors such as agriculture, education, and climate adaptation, and the inherent challenges of market failures in frontier markets, this programme focuses on unlocking flexible, risk-tolerant, and concessional capital to catalyse more investments for Africa’s sustainable development.
Target Audience
Senior leaders and decision-makers deploying grants or concessional capital, such as foundations, family offices, aid agencies, development finance institutions, corporates, and governments.
