Fellowship Description
The Africa Climate Investing Fellowship is designed to build expertise among climate investors, innovators, and other key players to accelerate the development of adaptation finance in Africa. Participants will gain future-focused strategies and tools for reshaping the climate adaptation finance landscape. They will attend virtual sessions along two tracks: Finance and Climate Adaptation, where experts share funding models and investment strategies.
Target Audience
- Investors: Providing financial instruments aimed at funding climate adaptation solutions. Examples include addressing flooding, storms, drought, and sea-level rise.
- Innovators: Scaling innovative climate adaptation products or services across sectors like water management, agriculture, renewable energy, infrastructure, public health, and disaster risk reduction.
