Course Description

The Catalytic Capital Training is a capacity-building initiative. This six-week virtual programme aims to equip African funders, investors, and ecosystem builders with the knowledge, tools, and skills to effectively deploy catalytic capital as a means to unlock private investment into high-impact but underserved opportunities across the continent.

In light of the widening finance gap across sectors such as agriculture, education, and climate adaptation, and the inherent challenges of market failures in frontier markets, this programme focuses on unlocking flexible, risk-tolerant, and concessional capital to catalyse more investments for Africa’s sustainable development.
